Tired Woman at her Bathroom sink

Lazy Girl Skin Care

June 08, 20251 min read

Ever have one of those evenings where all you can think about is how great your bed is going to feel when you fall into it. You know, one of those nights when the thought of washing your face & applying your serums and moisturizer is just too much to bear. But you know you really should do it...

We've all been there. On those nights when all you can do is the bare minimum, here's what I suggest:

  • If you've worn eye makeup, then use an oil free eye makeup remover to take off mascara, eyeliner, and eye shadow. It's faster & more thorough than using your facial cleanser.

  • Wash your face with your facial cleanser. If you've worn a liquid foundation, you might need to rinse and repeat.

  • If you are not up for it -- skip your serums and boosters.

  • But, definitely apply your nighttime moisturizer.

  • Skip your eye cream if you can't stand at the sink a minute longer!

Don't make this abbreviated regimen a habit if you want to minimize lines and wrinkles as you get older. Consistency with age fighting products is what makes them work. But every now and then a "cheat" night is OK.

Sweet dreams & get back on your routine tomorrow.
